for the brand’s site
With a goal of improving how people manage home warranty claims, Guard Home Warranty approached us to redesign their website and improve navigation. The vision quickly expanded into a comprehensive portal accommodating homeowners, realtors, insurance agents, inspectors, and even our client’s own in-house team.
Our team redesigned the entire website and developed dedicated pages tailored to key user personas. We also designed the main portal functionalities, including claim filing and user management. And we handled branding, covering both the logo and brand book.

Our team designed a logo that symbolizes safety and protection. We then developed a cohesive brand book to guide typography, color palette, and overall visual consistency.
Next, we reshaped the main site. The refreshed layout and clear content structure were intended to help users easily understand Guard Home Warranty’s services and navigate across pages.
A dedicated UX file was created to map out intricate user flows, from claim submissions to multi-step forms. The client's in-depth video walk-throughs helped us refine each journey.
We developed custom dashboards and forms for homeowners, realtors, inspectors, and others. This helped move away from the client’s old single-page system and better balance user needs.
After finishing UX/UI also for mobile, we moved on to portal development, for which we used efficient no-code tools like Webflow and WeWeb for front-end.
One of the most fascinating moments was discovering just how ambitious the project had become. While it started as a simple website redesign with a login portal, the actual solution has expanded into a multi-faceted system supporting multiple teams. Each user type needed distinct features, such as staged forms, role-specific dashboards, and secure claim submissions.
“Since we primarily operate as a B2B business right now, we don’t track metrics the same way DTC websites do. But we could definitely highlight the enhanced partner experience on our site—especially industry-leading features like dynamic claim frequency and type data, as well as real-time average claim approval insights.”

In the end, we helped Guard Home Warranty create a much better online experience. The redesigned website looks great and improves the brand image, while the newly developed user portal offers a centralized hub for diverse user groups to efficiently manage their needs. By simplifying the filing of claims and managing accounts, we improved the user experience for homeowners and realtors.
A special thanks to the GHM team for all the excellent collaboration efforts and extensive feedback during the process.
