About the project

AI-powered transcription for home healthcare

StenoHealth decided to improve and transform the way home health nurses and therapists handle documentation. They wanted an AI-powered tool that simplifies the tedious OASIS forms required in home healthcare - to save time, reduce paperwork, and improve patient care.

For this project, our Merge team had to create a brand identity, motion design, and web design. The goal was to gather leads and develop an approachable and trustworthy brand that is not like all the others in the medical field.

Work process

We began thoroughly exploring the home health industry and analyzing competitors to understand the unique challenges faced by nurses and therapists. Our research helped with our strategy to create a more distinctive brand.

Developing a unique brand identity in the medical field

One of the most intriguing aspects of this project was developing a brand that is different from all others in the medical arena while maintaining trust and professionalism. We decided to deviate from the classic medical greens and chose a main darker green and a beige-yellow secondary color, both of which are not typical shades associated with healthcare.

The logo was a centerpiece. It needed to symbolize healthcare and the product's core function. The final design cleverly combined a plus sign, representing medical care, with elements resembling a recording in progress and heart monitoring.

Visualizing complex processes through motion design

One key challenge was effectively communicating the value proposition of a product still under development. Our team had to translate these complex processes into easily digestible visuals and messaging so that the target audience could understand the product.

For that, we needed to create a video to explain visually how StenoHealth simplifies the OASIS documentation process, a complex form that home health professionals in the U.S. are required to fill out. The video demonstrated how the product records patient appointments and uses AI to transcribe and populate necessary documentation.

In conclusion

Result

Our collaboration with StenoHealth resulted in a cohesive and impactful brand identity and a smooth website that effectively articulates the product's benefits. The unique logo and color palette showed their uniqueness and innovative spirit in the medical field, while the animated video showed their innovative solution in action.

The client was pleased with the outcome, praising the branding, video, and website. We're proud to have contributed to their journey toward simplifying home healthcare and documentation.
