About Agentless

Agentless is a SaaS platform that helps U.S. independent home buyers complete the entire property transaction without traditional agents.

Challenge

With new U.S. regulations requiring buyers to pay costly realtor commissions, Agentless came to Merge with an idea: a platform to help buyers handle the purchase process themselves. The main challenge for Merge was to figure out if this idea could work technically, design a simple process for people who find real estate confusing, and build the actual platform. The goal was to give buyers the confidence and tools to buy a home independently and save money.

What Merge delivered

Our team started with technical feasibility research and market validation. Then we delivered UX wireframes and a complete UI design for the platform. We did backend and frontend development, and an AI integration for processing scraped property data and analyzing home inspection reports. Next, we delivered a Webflow-based marketing website with a cost-saving calculator. We also did branding and logo design.

Handling different state rules

One tricky part was the Purchase Agreement tool. Real estate rules change a lot depending on the U.S. state, so we couldn't just use one template. Each state has its own specific requirements for these important legal papers. Our team carefully researched these rules and built a system that could create the correct, specific document for each state.

Adding and using AI

We focused on using AI to solve real user problems within the platform. It helps organize property information found online so it's useful within the platform. It also reads home inspection reports, which are often full of technical terms, and gives users a simple summary, points out important issues, and estimates repair costs. This helps buyers know what they're dealing with and negotiate better.

Merge helped Agentless turn their idea into a working online platform and marketing website. We handled everything from checking the initial concept to designing the user experience, building the software, and adding helpful AI features. The result is a platform that helps U.S. home buyers navigate the purchasing process without an agent, making legal paperwork simpler and offering a way to save money.
