A trading platform operating in high-risk investments teamed up with us for in-depth user research to better understand their specific users' needs and improve their product.

Through a blend of in-depth interviews and targeted surveys, we delved into understanding user behaviors and preferences of high-risk investors, empowering client to tailor their services more effectively.

The challenge of uncovering high-risk investment minds

Navigating the client's niche audience, deeply embedded in high-risk investments, presented a challenge owing to their elusive nature. However, we adeptly secured sufficient participants, conducting six in-depth face-to-face interviews and compiling detailed questionnaire responses from four individuals.

Strategic feature ideation

By leveraging user-centric insights obtained through extensive research, we meticulously crafted a selection of 20 diverse feature ideas. Each idea was custom-tailored to directly address the specific pain points identified among our user base.

Moreover, our approach included the strategic integration of gamification elements within the app's onboarding process, aiming not only to streamline user experiences but also to significantly enhance engagement levels.

We conducted in-depth interviews and collected detailed questionnaires, integrating user testing to evaluate prototypes and gather feedback on key flows.

Features ideation

Then we brainstormed product features based on research insights, alongside a comprehensive audit of their prototype to identify improvement areas.

As a result, we compiled and presented detailed outcomes, encompassing user feedback and a set of 20 proposed feature ideas.

In conclusion

Through 450 hours invested in user-centric research and design improvements, client confirmed and expanded their understanding of user needs. The insights gathered have empowered them to consider impactful refinements, enrich their target audience profiles, and position their offerings more effectively in the market.
